SEO Intern – Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and self-driven SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship is ideal for students or freshers who want hands-on experience in search engine optimisation and real-world digital marketing practices.

Key Responsibilities

The SEO Intern will support keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities. They will assist with on-page SEO tasks such as optimising meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal links. The role also includes helping optimise content for search engines, monitoring website performance using SEO tools, and supporting basic off-page SEO activities like backlink analysis.

Requirements

Candidates should have a basic understanding of SEO and search engine fundamentals. Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms is preferred but not mandatory. Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential. Students or fresh graduates in marketing, IT, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

What You Will Learn

This internship provides practical exposure to SEO strategies, content optimisation, keyword planning, and performance tracking. Interns will work on live projects and gain experience that will help build a strong foundation in digital marketing.

Internship Details

• Duration: 3–6 months
• Type: Unpaid / Stipend-based
• Stipend: ₹4,000 – ₹5,000 per month (based on performance)
• Location: On-site

Certification

An internship certificate and letter of recommendation (based on performance) will be provided at the end of the internship.

Pay: Up to ₹5,000.00 per month
