We’re looking for a SEO Intern who is passionate about search engine optimization, eager to learn, and motivated to grow with our team long-term.

Position Overview:

The SEO Intern will assist in developing, implementing, and optimizing SEO strategies to improve website rankings, traffic, and online visibility. This role is ideal for someone who has a foundational understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts, with a keen eye for analytics, research, and content performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research (short-tail, long-tail, and intent-based)
• Assist in on-page optimization (meta tags, headings, internal linking, content optimization)
• Support off-page SEO activities including link building and outreach
• Perform basic technical SEO audits (indexing, crawl issues, site structure, page speed)
• Work on content optimization using semantic SEO principles
• Assist in AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) basics
• Analyze competitors and identify content and backlink gaps
• Track rankings, traffic, and performance using SEO tools (SEMRUSH, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4)
• Knowledge of content strategy and topic clustering or topical Authority
• Understanding of local SEO and schema markup

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Basic understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Familiarity with keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficient in using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about growing in the digital marketing field.

Required Skills (Must Have):

• Basic understanding of SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical)
• Familiarity with keyword research and search intent
• Basic knowledge of link-building strategies
• Understanding of semantic SEO concepts
• Awareness of AEO and GEO fundamentals
• Ability to use tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Basic understanding of HTML (title tags, meta descriptions, headings)
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Good written English for content optimization
