SEO Intern

About the Role

CodianTech is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to build a career in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing, and website analytics. You will gain hands-on experience working on real client and in-house projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform keyword research using SEO tools.
• Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, and headings.
• Create SEO-friendly content for blogs, landing pages, and service pages.
• Conduct on-page and technical SEO audits.
• Build high-quality backlinks through outreach and directory submissions.
• Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Research competitors and identify SEO opportunities.
• Assist in improving website rankings and organic traffic.
• Generate SEO performance reports and recommendations.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with Google Search, websites, and digital marketing.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress or CMS platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new SEO techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Marketing, Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar is an advantage.
