ABOUT THE ROLE

EccentricOne is a growing IT and digital marketing company based on Main Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi. We are looking for a motivated and curious SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team.

This is a beginner-level internship designed for students or fresh graduates who want to build a real, hands-on foundation in Search Engine Optimization. If you are passionate about digital marketing, eager to learn, and ready to work in a structured professional environment — this role is for you.

No prior work experience is required. What matters is your mindset, your willingness to learn, and your basic understanding of how search engines work.WHAT YOU WILL DO

During this internship, you will work directly alongside our SEO and content team and get exposure to real client projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Learning and assisting with keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ubersuggest
• Supporting on-page SEO tasks including meta titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, and internal linking
• Assisting with off-page SEO activities including basic link building, directory submissions, and outreach support
• Helping the team monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Creating basic SEO reports and tracking keyword position changes week over week
• Researching competitors and identifying content or ranking opportunities
• Staying up to date with SEO news, Google updates, and industry best practices
• Supporting senior team members with audits, content briefs, and research tasks

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are not looking for someone who already knows everything. We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in SEO and digital marketing and is ready to put in the effort to grow.

You are a great fit if you:

• Are a fresh graduate or final-year student in Marketing, Business, IT, Media Sciences, or a related field
• Have a basic understanding of how search engines work — what is SEO, what is a keyword, what is a backlink
• Have completed any SEO-related course or certification — Google Digital Garage, Coursera, HubSpot, Semrush Academy, or similar (strong plus)
• Have worked on a personal blog, freelance project, or academic SEO project (big advantage)
• Have strong written English skills for content support and reporting
• Are detail-oriented, consistent, and self-motivated
• Can commute on-site to Shah-e-Faisal Block 6, Karachi, Monday to Saturday without issues

You do not need:

• Paid tool experience
• Formal work history
• An advanced degree

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
