SEO Internship

Position Overview

We are looking for a SEO Intern who is eager to learn and assist in improving website visibility on search engines like Google. The intern will support the SEO team in executing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO tasks while gaining hands-on experience with real projects, tools, and data.

This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want to build a strong foundation in search engine optimization and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics
• Support optimization of website content and landing pages for SEO
• Conduct keyword research, discovery, and basic optimization
• Help implement SEO recommendations provided by the team
• Assist with on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, content structure)
• Support off-page SEO activities such as link-building and outreach
• Assist with Local SEO tasks (Google Business Profile, citations, etc.)
• Help identify basic technical SEO issues and report them to the team
• Research SEO keywords for website content and marketing materials
• Monitor basic SEO performance metrics and prepare reports
• Coordinate with content and marketing teams to align SEO goals
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and best practices

Requirements and Skills

• Basic understanding of search engines and how SEO works
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar (training can be provided)
• Basic knowledge of keyword research concepts
• Interest in data analysis and digital marketing
• Ability to conduct simple competitor research
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take feedback positively
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Up-to-date or willing to learn about current SEO and SEM trends

Educational Qualification

• Completed a degree in Marketing, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Freshers or students are welcome to apply
