About the Role

As our Google Merchant & Link Building Specialist, you will manage and optimize Google Merchant Center accounts while executing high-impact link-building campaigns to improve organic rankings and domain authority. You’ll work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to ensure our online presence converts visibility into measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Google Merchant Center Management

• Set up, manage, and optimize Google Merchant Center accounts
• Create, update, and troubleshoot product feeds
• Resolve feed disapprovals and policy violations
• Optimize product titles, descriptions, GTINs, and attributes
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements

Strategic Link Building

• Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies
• Conduct competitor backlink analysis
• Perform outreach to bloggers, publishers, and industry websites
• Secure high-quality backlinks through guest posting, partnerships, and digital PR
• Monitor backlink profile health and remove toxic links
• Track and report improvements in domain authority and rankings

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Google Merchant Center
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and search algorithms
• Proven experience in manual outreach and link acquisition
• Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar
• Knowledge of structured data and product schema
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance metrics
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
