Role Overview
The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search visibility, traffic, and conversions for multiple client websites in the IT and technology space. This role requires a strong blend of analytical, strategic, and technical SEO skills, along with proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical) aligned with client and business goals.
- Lead a team of SEO executives, content strategists, and link-building specialists.
- Conduct detailed SEO audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website architecture, content, internal linking, and metadata for improved ranking and user experience.
- Collaborate with the web development and content teams to implement technical SEO best practices.
- Manage link-building initiatives and ensure high-quality backlink acquisition.
- Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics, rankings, and performance KPIs using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Stay updated on the latest algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging SEO tools or technologies.
- Prepare and present performance reports and growth strategies to senior management and clients.
- Drive local SEO initiatives for regional and global clients, as needed.
- Coordinate with PPC, content marketing, and web development teams to ensure cohesive digital strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of hands-on SEO experience in a digital marketing or IT services environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale SEO projects and achieving top rankings.
- Strong expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page strategies.
- Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.
- Deep understanding of web analytics, keyword ranking factors, and content optimization strategies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics (for technical SEO discussions with developers).
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, HubSpot, or custom CMS.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the IT services or SaaS industry.
- Familiarity with international SEO and multilingual website optimization.
- Google Analytics / Google Ads / HubSpot certifications are a plus.
