SEO Manager / Team Lead

Job Description:

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Team Lead / Manager to oversee our SEO initiatives, manage a high-performing team, and drive strong organic growth across our platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical SEO expertise, strong analytical skills, and proven experience in managing and optimizing websites for better search engine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize website performance across all major search engines with a strong command of technical SEO.
• Lead, mentor, and guide the SEO team to achieve measurable growth in organic traffic and keyword rankings.
• Utilize SEO marketing tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog) to track performance and identify opportunities.
• Optimize website copy, content, and landing pages for both SEO and SEM.
• Conduct competitor analysis and develop strategies for authority link building and backlink acquisition.
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to implement content marketing strategies aligned with the latest Google algorithms.
• Create and maintain detailed SEO performance reports and present actionable insights.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO, SEM, and Google algorithm trends.
• Prior experience in E-commerce SEO will be highly preferred.

Required Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 4–8 years of proven experience in SEO and team management.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Hands-on experience with leading SEO tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under deadlines.
• Kolkata-based candidates preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
