SEO Project Manager

Job Description:

The SEO Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and optimization of multiple SEO projects to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic. This role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams—including SEO specialists, web developers, content creators, and marketing, as well as managing direct client relationships. You ensure projects are delivered on time, align with business objectives, and meet client expectations through clear communication and proactive partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage effective SEO strategies and campaigns to achieve business objectives

- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, conducting regular meetings to understand needs, provide updates, and discuss project performance

- Coordinate and oversee keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and link-building activities

- Manage workflows, resources, and timelines for multiple SEO projects concurrently

- Conduct SEO audits, analyze website performance, and provide regular reports to both internal teams and clients

- Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to translate SEO requirements into actionable deliverables

- Address client feedback, manage expectations, and foster long-term relationships

- Stay current on SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and industry trends

- Identify project risks, propose solutions, and maintain project momentum

- Ensure comprehensive project documentation and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

- 2-4 years of experience is required

- Proven experience in SEO project management and direct client management

- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), and technical SEO concepts

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a client-centric approach

- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred

This role ensures the effective delivery of SEO results while maintaining excellent client relationships and transparent communication, driving both performance and customer satisfaction

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
