About the Role

We are seeking a proactive SEO Executive to drive organic growth for Ekya Schools’

digital properties. You will be responsible for optimizing our web assets (25+ properties,

including Ekya Early Years and CMR Group institutions) to attract progressive parents

seeking K-12 education. Your work will directly impact brand visibility, organic traffic,

and admissions inquiries through data-driven SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Keyword Strategy & Content Optimization

Identify, track, and prioritize high-intent search queries (e.g., "best CBSE school in

Bangalore," "project-based learning schools").

Build and execute a core SEO plan for assigned web properties, aligning with Ekya’s

"World Beyond Boundaries" brand ethos.

Collaborate with content teams to develop optimized articles, blogs, and landing pages

(e.g., "How Ekya’s Design Thinking Curriculum Prepares Future Leaders").

2. Technical SEO & Website Performance

Audit and improve technical SEO elements:

Page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.

Interlinking, backlinking, and nofollow tag management.

Work with developers to enhance UX (e.g., faster media playback, intuitive navigation).

3. Multi-Platform Optimization

Ensure SEO best practices across:

Google My Business: Optimized descriptions, visual assets (correct aspect ratios).

Third-party listings (SchoolMyKids, EducationWorld).

YouTube/Videos: Keyword-rich descriptions, transcripts, and thumbnails.

4. Data-Driven Reporting

Track KPIs using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush/Ahrefs:

MoM organic traffic growth.

Keyword rankings (e.g., "Ekya vs. Oakridge").

Bounce rate reduction and backlink acquisition.

5. Collaboration & Compliance

Partner with design teams to ensure visuals adhere to brand guidelines. Review

PR/articles to secure do follow backlinks from authoritative sites.

Requirements

Experience: 1–3 years in SEO/content marketing, preferably in education or edtech.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Google Analytics, Search Console, Looker Studio.

Hands-on experience with SEMRush, Ahrefs, or SERanking.

Basic HTML/CSS understanding (for developer collaboration).

Soft Skills:

Ability to manage multiple web properties simultaneously.

Strong communication to align with content/design teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with local SEO for school admissions.

Experience optimizing long-form content (e.g., curriculum pages, parent testimonials).

Knowledge of voice search optimization (e.g., "Hey Google, best ICSE schools near

me").

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
