Role Overview

As an SEO Specialist at News Reach, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital visibility, authority, and organic traffic through targeted SEO strategies. You will work closely with marketing, tech, and content teams to ensure our platform ranks prominently in search results, aligns with the future of AI-driven search, and is recognized by Google as a trusted source in the PR domain.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Optimization

• Identify and target high-impact keywords (e.g., press release distribution India, digital PR platform, PR agency Ahmedabad) relevant to our industry and business goals.
• Optimize existing and new landing pages with on-page SEO best practices.
• Conduct regular SEO audits to monitor performance and identify opportunities.

Structured Data & Schema Implementation

• Implement relevant schema.org structured data (e.g., Organization, News Media Organization, News Article) across the website.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure schema markup is properly integrated and validated in Google Search Console.

Backlink Acquisition & Brand Mentions

• Develop a strategic backlink-building plan to acquire authoritative links from relevant media, PR, and marketing websites.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for digital mentions and collaborations to improve domain authority and brand visibility.

Google Business Profile Optimization

• Claim and optimize News Reach’s Google Business Profile to enhance local and branded search visibility.
• Maintain accurate business information, post regular updates, and monitor reviews.

AI-Ready SEO

• Stay informed on AI-driven search trends (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Co-pilot) and ensure our SEO strategies evolve accordingly.
• Optimize content and technical SEO for better visibility in AI-powered search engines.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of proven experience in SEO, ideally within a digital media or PR context.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Experience with schema implementation and structured data.
• Demonstrated success in backlink building and keyword ranking improvements.
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile and local SEO practices.
• Understanding of AI’s impact on search and willingness to stay ahead of industry changes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
