Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimisation strategies to enhance our online visibility and drive organic traffic. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise technical skills and creative thinking to optimise website content, improve search rankings, and support overall digital marketing objectives. The ideal applicant will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, web analytics, and content management systems, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analyse search trends to inform optimisation strategies.
  • Optimise website content, including metadata, headings, and images, to improve search engine rankings.
  • Manage and update content management systems such as WordPress, ensuring all content is SEO-friendly.
  • Implement technical SEO improvements, including enhancing site speed, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.
  • Utilise tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager to monitor website performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority.
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality, SEO-optimised content for blogs, landing pages, and social media platforms.
  • Monitor competitors’ SEO strategies and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Analyse website traffic data to assess the effectiveness of SEO campaigns and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain or improve search rankings.

Experience

  • Proven experience in SEO optimisation within a digital marketing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other relevant analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of metadata optimisation techniques and social media management integration.
  • Understanding of technical SEO aspects such as site architecture, schema markup, and page speed optimisation.
  • Ability to interpret data insights to inform strategic decisions effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
