SEO Specialist

Role Summary

As an SEO Specialist, your primary goal will be to increase the foundation’s organic visibility. You will drive traffic to our donation pages and project updates. This is a remote, incentive-based position where your rewards are tied to specific milestones, such as traffic growth, keyword rankings, and successful digital lead generation for donations.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Page SEO: Optimise website content, meta tags, and images to rank for keywords related to "child education NGO," "orphanage donations," and "social work in India."
• Off-Page SEO: Build high-quality backlinks and manage outreach to social bloggers and news outlets.
• Content Strategy: Suggest blog topics that resonate with donors and explain the impact of our residential project.
• Technical SEO: Audit the website for speed, mobile-friendliness, and indexing issues.
• Performance Tracking: Use Google Analytics and Search Console to provide monthly reports on organic growth.

Requirements (Education & Experience)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
• Certifications in SEO (Google, HubSpot, or SEMrush) are highly preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in SEO (agency or freelance).
• Experience with NGO or Non-Profit marketing is a huge plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating successful ranking of keywords or growth in organic traffic.

Skills:

• Proficiency in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest).
• Basic knowledge of WordPress or a similar CMS.
• Excellent written English and Hindi (to cater to local and global donors).

Compensation & Incentives

Since this is an Incentive-Based Role, the specialist will be rewarded based on:

• Milestone Bonuses: Fixed payments upon reaching 1st-page rankings for target keywords.
• Conversion Incentives: A percentage or fixed bonus based on digital donations tracked via SEO-driven traffic.
• Certification & Recognition: A formal "Experience Letter" and "Social Impact Certificate" from Free Smile Foundation.
