SEO Intern (Off-Page SEO & Backlinking) – 6 Months Contract

Location: UAE (Remote / Hybrid / On-site)

Salary: AED 2,000/month

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Working Hours: 5 Hours per Day | 5 Days per Week

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in real-world SEO projects, especially in Off-Page SEO and backlink building.

The candidate should currently be based in the UAE and can either work remotely or visit the office as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Build high-quality backlinks through outreach and submissions
• Perform Off-Page SEO activities to improve website rankings
• Research backlink opportunities and competitor strategies
• Submit business listings, citations, and directory links
• Support guest posting and outreach campaigns
• Monitor backlinks and SEO performance
• Work with the content and marketing team for SEO optimization
• Write SEO-friendly blog content using AI tools
• Support content strategy and keyword-based article planning
• Understand and implement AI SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies
• Stay updated with AI search trends and SEO best practices
• Maintain SEO reports and track keyword improvements
• Follow white-hat SEO practices and Google guidelines

Requirements

• 0–1 year of SEO or digital marketing experience
• Understanding of SEO concepts
• Familiarity with backlinking and off-page SEO is a plus
• Basic knowledge of AI-assisted content writing tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms
• Understanding of AI SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and modern search trends is preferred
• Ability to write blog content and support content strategy initiatives
• Good communication and research skills
• Knowledge of tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Uber Suggest or similar SEO tools is an advantage
• Must currently be based in the UAE
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
