Job description:

Wispa Digital is a UK-based digital company working with premium sofa and furniture brands. We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist (E-commerce) to strengthen our organic presence, improve search rankings, & drive high-quality, converting traffic.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on SEO experience for e-commerce websites and who understands the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies for e-commerce websites to drive organic traffic, revenue growth, and long-term visibility.

· Conduct in-depth keyword research, search intent mapping, and competitor analysis, with a strong focus on the UK market and high-value commercial keywords.

· Optimize product pages, category pages, collection pages, blogs, and landing pages for on-page SEO, conversion optimization, and user experience.

· Lead technical SEO initiatives, including site architecture, crawlability, indexing, page speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, canonicalization, and mobile optimization.

· Monitor, analyze, and report performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and third-party tools, translating data into actionable insights.

· Track and improve rankings, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, and revenue attribution from SEO efforts.

· Collaborate closely with content, design, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all site updates and campaigns.

· Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical SEO issues in coordination with developers and platform teams.

· Manage content optimization and SEO-led content planning, including blog strategies, internal linking, and content gap analysis.

· Oversee and support off-page SEO initiatives, including backlink analysis, link-building strategies, and digital PR support.

· Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates, SEO trends, and best practices, proactively adapting strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

· Prepare SEO performance reports and insights for stakeholders, highlighting progress, opportunities, and growth roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience:

· 5+ years of proven experience in e-commerce SEO, preferably in agency or high-growth environments.

· Strong hands-on expertise in GA4 and Google Search Console, including event tracking, funnel analysis, and performance attribution.

· Experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, etc.).

· Proficiency with leading SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and other auditing and reporting platforms.

· Deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, including structured data and site performance optimization.

· Solid knowledge of content SEO, CRO principles, and user intent optimization for e-commerce.

· Familiarity with the UK market, search behavior, and competitive landscape is a strong advantage.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO insights to non-technical stakeholders.
