We are seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist who is already ahead of the curve. You won’t just be ranking links on Google; you will be responsible for ensuring our clients’ brands are the "chosen answer" for AI models, voice assistants, and generative search engines. The ideal candidate has a deep foundation in traditional SEO but has actively transitioned into AEO (optimizing for snippets/voice) and GEO (optimizing for LLM citations like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity).
Key Responsibilities
- Holistic Search Strategy: Develop and execute SEO strategies that improve organic rankings while simultaneously targeting visibility in AI Overviews (SGE) and Generative AI responses.
- Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): Structure content to capture "Zero-Click" searches. This includes optimizing for Featured Snippets, People Also Ask (PAA), and voice assistants (Alexa/Siri).
- Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): Implement tactics to ensure brand mentions and citations within LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini). Focus on building Brand Authority and EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).
- Technical SEO & Schema: Master the use of advanced Schema Markup (FAQ, How-to, Organization, Product) to help AI engines interpret and index content contextually.
- Keyword & Intent Research: Go beyond simple volume; analyze conversational queries, long-tail "natural language" questions, and semantic clusters.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to ensure blogs and landing pages are formatted for "machine readability" (clear hierarchies, bullet points, and concise direct answers).
- Performance Tracking: Monitor traditional KPIs (rankings, traffic) alongside new metrics like AI Share of Voice, citation frequency, and snippet ownership.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–4 years of proven SEO experience (Agency experience preferred).
- Technical Mastery: Strong understanding of Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and PageSpeed Insights.
- AI Proficiency: Familiarity with how LLMs source information and hands-on experience with tools like Perplexity or Google Gemini for search analysis.
- On-Page & Semantic SEO: Expertise in topic clustering and NLP (Natural Language Processing) friendly content structures.
- Local SEO (for GEO): Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile optimization to dominate "near me" and location-based AI results.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
