Verona Creative Marketing is growing, and we’re looking for a results-driven SEO/AI Specialist to join our team. This is a remote, contract-based, part-time, per project opportunity for someone who lives and breathes SEO + AI... and can prove it. What You’ll Do

As our SEO/AI Specialist, you’ll take ownership of client SEO+AI projects from strategy through execution. Responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing effective SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
• Conducting in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities.
• Leveraging AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance keyword research, content optimization, reporting, and efficiency.
• Optimizing websites for both on-page SEO (content, metadata, headings, site structure) and off-page SEO (link-building, outreach, local SEO).
• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
• Collaborating with our content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into everything we deliver.
• Providing actionable recommendations on website structure, user experience, and technical SEO/AI.
• Staying ahead of search engine algorithm changes and emerging trends to keep clients competitive.

What We’re Looking For

We want a specialist who is proactive, detail-oriented, and can confidently demonstrate results. Ideal candidates will have:

• Proven experience (3+ years preferred) managing successful SEO/AI campaigns.
• Advanced knowledge of SEO + AI principles, from technical to content optimization and link strategies.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
• Comfort with AI tools and platforms to support smarter, faster, more effective SEO strategies.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate numbers into clear insights and strategies.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, and site architecture.
• Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills-- you’ll be explaining results and recommendations, as well as providing reports directly to our team and, sometimes, clients.
