SEO/Digital Marketing Intern

1. Keyword Research & Analysis

• Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest.
• Identify relevant keywords for blogs, web pages, and campaigns.

2. On-Page SEO

• Optimize website content, titles, meta descriptions, and URLs.
• Assist in improving website structure, internal linking, and image optimization.

3. Off-Page SEO

• Perform link-building activities such as directory submissions, guest posting, and bookmarking.
• Maintain a daily backlink report and monitor domain authority improvement.

4. Content Optimization

• Coordinate with content writers to ensure articles are SEO-friendly and keyword optimized.
• Suggest content topics based on keyword trends and competitor analysis.

5. Technical SEO Support

• Assist in basic technical checks like broken links, page speed, and mobile friendliness.
• Learn to use tools like Google Search Console and Screaming Frog.

6. Social Media Support

• Help plan and post engaging content on social media platforms.
• Track engagement metrics like likes, shares, and reach.

7. Google Tools & Analytics

• Learn and assist in tracking traffic and conversions using Google Analytics & Search Console.
• Prepare weekly performance reports on traffic, impressions, and keyword trends.

8. Competitor Research

• Analyze competitor websites, keywords, and backlinks.
• Suggest ideas to improve website performance based on findings.

9. Campaign Assistance

• Support the team in running Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or email marketing campaigns.
• Help in creating ad copies, creatives, and tracking campaign results.

10. Learning & Reporting

• Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and Google updates.
• Submit daily or weekly activity reports to the senior digital marketing executive.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Number of keywords ranked in top 10 positions.
• Quality and quantity of backlinks generated.
• Increase in organic website traffic.
• Social media engagement and consistency.
• Timeliness and accuracy of task completion.
