Duties
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-impact search terms aligned with our business goals and target audience.
- Optimize website content, metadata, and HTML elements to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
- Implement technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, structured data markup, and crawlability enhancements using tools like Google Search Console and SEO platforms.
- Manage and update content management systems such as WordPress to ensure SEO compliance across all pages.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to strengthen domain authority and improve search visibility.
- Utilize SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz to monitor performance metrics, conduct site audits, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze web analytics data from Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to track traffic patterns, user behavior, conversions, and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with content creators and social media teams to optimize digital content for SEO and social engagement.
- Leverage Google Tag Manager for tracking conversions, events, and user interactions to refine marketing strategies.
- Enhance e-commerce platforms by optimizing product pages, metadata, images, and user experience for better search rankings and conversions.
- Stay current with evolving search engine algorithms (Google Search updates), industry trends, and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.
Experience
1. Core Digital Marketing Skills
Required:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in SEO and SMM within healthcare, behavioral health, or addiction treatment marketing.
- Strong understanding of Google Search, Local SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization.
- Proficiency with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4.
- Ability to build and execute content strategies specific to addiction treatment.
- Knowledge of conversion funnels for admissions (calls, forms, chats).
- Experience in managing social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) focusing on patient-facing educational content.
2. Healthcare-Specific Regulatory Compliance
Mandatory:
- Understanding of HIPAA marketing restrictions and privacy rules.
- Knowledge of Google Ads Addiction Treatment Certification requirements.
- Awareness of ethical marketing standards for SUD programs (no patient brokering, no deceptive practices).
- Ability to create compliant content related to:
- Detox
- Residential treatment
- MAT (Suboxone, Vivitrol)
- PHP/IOP
- Mental health services
3. Rehab-Industry Knowledge
Preferred:
- Experience working with addiction treatment centers or mental health clinics.
- Understanding of common keywords and search intent for:

- Create social media content that is supportive, stigma-free, and educational.

5. Technical SEO Knowledge
Required:
- Site audits: speed, indexing, meta structure, schema.
- On-page optimization (H1/H2, internal links, keyword density).

- Experience with ADA accessibility compliance (WCAG).
- Understanding of website platforms:

6. Lead Generation & Analytics

Pay: $48,626.18 - $58,560.56 per year
