Duties

• Safely operate septic pump trucks, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Load, unload, and transport septic waste materials efficiently between job sites and disposal facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections of trucks and pumping equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks during setup, maintenance, or when handling equipment parts
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with trucks or pumps and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using manual methods or specialized equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, routes, and waste disposal records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on septic or waste management services.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.
• Mechanical aptitude to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on trucks and pumping equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to waste transportation and vehicle operation.
