Septic pumper laborer

Job Summary
Join our team as a Septic Pumper Operator Laborer and become a vital part of maintaining clean, efficient, and reliable septic systems for our clients. In this energetic role, you will perform septic pumping and maintenance tasks, and support construction and site preparation activities. Your hands-on work will ensure the smooth operation of septic systems while contributing to the safety and satisfaction of our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction site operations, heavy equipment handling, and environmental services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with septic pumping trucks and related heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks to perform maintenance and installation tasks.
  • Conduct routine inspections of septic tanks, pipes, and related infrastructure to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
  • Assist with excavation, site preparation, and grading activities using heavy machinery like Kubota equipment and horizontal drilling tools.
  • Support construction projects by handling materials, assisting with site cleanup, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service logs, inspection reports, and equipment usage documentation.
  • Follow safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents during operation of heavy machinery or on construction sites.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to environmental regulations and company standards.

Experience

  • Previous experience in operating or assisting with heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, or water trucks is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems related to septic pumping and construction machinery is a plus.
  • Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety practices and equipment handling is advantageous.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving dump trucks or tanker vehicles is desirable.
  • Driver’s License class D with F endorsement
  • Familiarity with construction tools like trackhoes, dozers, skidsteers, hydrovac and septic pumping apparatus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness is essential. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
