ServceTechnician

Overview
We are a small but growing company looking for honest,energetic and motivated people who enjoy solving problems and helping people. We have an opening for a service technician whose duties would be responsible for treating houses and businesses for unwanted insects. Service technician will have a set route.

Pay will be a percentage of the job completed. Typcial pay will range from $100-$300 per day depending on the number and types of jobs.

Duties

• Treatment and extermination of insects, mice and rats in private homes and businesses.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections of company vehicle.
• Proper usage of PPE.
• Documenting a work log. Creating invoices for completed jobs.
• Communicate clearly with clients to explain technical issues and solutions in an understandable manner.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, troubleshoot complex problems, and improve service processes.
• Keep tools, parts inventory, and work areas organized to ensure efficiency on every job.

Experience

• Must have driving experience with a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Must be polite and professional.
• Must be willing to work around different types of insects (ants, roaches, spiders, yellow jackets, fleas and bedbugs.) We will teach you how to protect yourself.
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members alike.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, product labels and comprehend simple math.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures pertinent to the industry.
• Basic proficiency with hand tools, hand sprayers and backpack sprayers.
• Must be able to carry a 40 lb backpack sprayer.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• State applicator license, state endorsements.
• Experience working with concentrated pesticides.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software.
