Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards in all serving areas, including bussing tables and assisting in food preparation when needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems (Toast).
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with guest services roles such as host/hostess or bussing is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic environment that values hospitality excellence. Pay: From $8.00 per hour
