In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service to ensure every guest leaves with a memorable impression. Whether guiding guests through our menu, managing orders with precision, or upselling specials, your positive energy will drive the success of our restaurant. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained throughout service
  • Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring overall guest happiness
  • Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such a Toast POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to engage guests effectively
  • Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order processing
  • Previous experience in serving roles such as host/hostess or busser is advantageous
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
