You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience serving in a fast paced highly energetic upscale casual restaurant. Those with Head Wait and/or Supervisory experience are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area - Able to multi-task - Some knowledge of Beer and Wine
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry preferred
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to upsell menu items and provide exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Toast POS, is a plus
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is desirable
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.21 - $15.08 per hour
