What you’ll do

• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to accurately process orders and payments, ensuring smooth transactions.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience and boost sales while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly while providing accurate change and receipts to guests.
• Assist with hosting duties as needed, greeting guests warmly upon arrival and managing reservations through OpenTable.
• Stay informed about menu items, specials, and wine pairings to provide recommendations that delight our guests.

Basic qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is essential.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in fine dining settings is a plus!
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge enhances your ability to communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
• Familiarity with basic math for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment.
