Responsibilities

As a server, you are the face of our restaurant and crucial to the customer experience. Your duties will include:

Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Presenting menus, answering questions, and making recommendations regarding our delicious breakfast and lunch items.
Accurately taking food and beverage orders and entering them into our TOAST Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
Delivering orders promptly from the kitchen to the correct tables, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Monitoring tables to anticipate guest needs, such as refilling drinks or clearing finished plates.
Handling bills and processing payments (cash and credit) efficiently and accurately.
Collaborating with kitchen and host staff to ensure smooth and timely service flow.
Performing opening and closing duties, including general cleaning and restocking server stations.
Addressing any guest complaints or issues with a positive attitude and referring to management when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred (mention minimum years if required, e.g., 1+ years in a fast-paced environment).
All Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively during busy periods.
Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and cleanliness standards are met.
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Knowledge of TOAST POS systems is a plus.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Must have a valid food handler's card or be willing to obtain one.
