Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience with various POS systems and food industry standards is preferred, along with a keen eye for detail and guest relations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and daily specials
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and preparing tables for new guests
  • Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
  • Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions to assist guests effectively
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
  • Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area, including sanitation practices aligned with food safety regulations

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
  • Experience with culinary techniques, food preparation, or hospitality roles like host/hostess or bussing is beneficial
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Demonstrated ability in guest services, upselling, and creating memorable guest relations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols within the food industry
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
