Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

- Take orders and deliver food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure a clean and well-maintained dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner
- Upsell menu items and promote special deals to increase sales
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and nutritional information
- Manage multiple tables at once, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail
- Use point-of-sale TOAST systems to accurately process orders and manage cash transactions
- Work with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared promptly and to the guest's satisfaction
- Use TOAST POS to manage tables and track orders
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of all areas, including bathrooms and kitchen
- Participate in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other servers and restaurant staff to ensure seamless service
- Use OpenTable to manage reservations and table assignments

Experience

- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant environment
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and hospitality skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with TOAST systems and TOAST POS
- Ability to upsell and promote special deals to increase sales
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation and presentation
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- High school diploma or equivalent required
