Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and possess strong communication skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort throughout their dining experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
  • Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairing suggestions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that presentation meets the standards of fine dining.
  • Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests or concerns.
  • Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures, ensuring proper math calculations for checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service, fostering strong guest relations through effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience in a server role is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; ability to perform calculations quickly is essential.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards within the food industry.
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required.

Base Pay: $350.00 - $700.00 per week
