Join our dynamic team as a FOH Counter Server and become the heart of our exceptional dining experience! Whether guiding guests through menus, managing orders with precision, or upselling specialty items, you’ll be a vital part of our vibrant food service environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, fun setting. Sundays and Holidays are mandatory for all staff.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS ensuring timely delivery
  • Assist guests with selections, including recommendations and upselling of specialty dishes or drinks to enhance their experience
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining POS systems like OpenTable for reservations and order management
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed
  • Support the team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with food prep tasks as required
  • Foster guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual setting

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bakeries or coffee shop environments.
  • Proficiency with POS systems including Toast and Tock is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment; multitask efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience with counter service, bussing, host/hostess duties, or hospitality roles is a plus
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and cashiering; attention to detail in order accuracy and guest interactions

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
