Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen team
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness to maintain a welcoming environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments securely, and provide correct change
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to coordinate service flow and guest seating arrangements for optimal efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus for understanding menu offerings and preparation standards
• Excellent communication skills along with basic math proficiency for cash handling and billing purposes
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous for guest relations and service flow management
