Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems Toast ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure efficient service flow.
• Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements during busy hours.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in fine dining or nightclub settings, adapting to different atmospheres with professionalism.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for order processing efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability in guest services, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles enhances your suitability for this position.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards ensures compliance with health regulations.
• Strong time management skills are essential for handling multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; a passion for the food industry is valued.
