Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining a genuine interest in guest preferences
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are met
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service in a fine dining or nightclub setting
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals while practicing responsible cash handling

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential
