Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely service in a fine dining or nightclub setting
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere
• Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing waitlists using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
• Uphold food safety standards through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service and guest relations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Strong sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items effectively
• Experience working in fine dining environments or nightclubs is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
