Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to uphold high standards of quality and sanitation
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and providing correct change
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly and supporting sanitation protocols in line with food safety regulations
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food flow and address guest requests promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and basic cashiering skills
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is desirable but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
