Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, wine pairings, and restaurant offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing openTable reservations when applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for billing and cash handling purposes.
