Server

Bay area restaurant group seeking professional servers for established fine-dining concepts.

$18.70 per hour plus tips

Position Summary

As a server you are the primary connection between our guests and the dining experience. You are responsible for delivering polished, attentive, and knowledgeable service while creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere. You take pride in hospitality, teamwork, and attention to detail, always placing the guest first.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, and attentive service throughout the guest dining experience
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and menu offerings
• Accurately take and input orders while following service timing standards
• Guide guests through menu selections and make thoughtful recommendations
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs proactively
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections
• Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and support staff
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a reputable, high-volume restaurant
• Solid foundation in food and wine service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Passion for hospitality with a consistent guest-first service
• High attention to detail and professionalism

Availability Requirements

• Open availability is required
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Team members are expected to work scheduled shifts as business needs require

Required Certifications

• Valid California Food Handler Certificate
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive manual tasks
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
