Bay area restaurant group seeking professional servers for established fine-dining concepts.
$18.70 per hour plus tips
Position Summary
As a server you are the primary connection between our guests and the dining experience. You are responsible for delivering polished, attentive, and knowledgeable service while creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere. You take pride in hospitality, teamwork, and attention to detail, always placing the guest first.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service throughout the guest dining experience
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and menu offerings
- Accurately take and input orders while following service timing standards
- Guide guests through menu selections and make thoughtful recommendations
- Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs proactively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections
- Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and support staff
- Complete opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and procedures
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a reputable, high-volume restaurant
- Solid foundation in food and wine service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Passion for hospitality with a consistent guest-first service
- High attention to detail and professionalism
Availability Requirements
- Open availability is required
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Team members are expected to work scheduled shifts as business needs require
Required Certifications
- Valid California Food Handler Certificate
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
