What you’ll do

• Greet and seat guests with enthusiasm, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring a seamless ordering experience.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales, utilizing your culinary knowledge.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive customer service throughout the dining experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips in accordance with cash handling policies.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is essential; fine dining experience is preferred.
• MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 LBS
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a significant advantage.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing; previous cashiering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure compliance in all food handling processes.
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge enhances your ability to communicate menu details confidently.
• Experience as a host/host or in guest services will elevate your ability to create memorable experiences.
