Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Recommend menu items and upsell additional courses or beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant flow
• Assist with reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms, managing guest seating efficiently
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Support food handling and food preparation tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment, including basic math calculations for bills and inventory

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service or hospitality roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Strong sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus for adapting to diverse settings
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering, billing, and inventory purposes
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift trays, and perform cleaning duties as required
