Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic food service team. As a vital member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and professional service. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with guests
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment using strong time management skills
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
