Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our establishment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu knowledge, including specials, to assist guests in their selections.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Familiarity with OpenTable reservation system is a plus.
• Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial.
