Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant dining team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Take accurate orders for food and beverages, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure seamless transactions.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
• Check in with guests periodically to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns with professionalism and care.
• Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests while adhering to sanitation standards.
• Handle cash or card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills.
• Maintain a clean work environment in the dining area, kitchen station, and service stations following sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any order discrepancies.
• Assist with food preparation or setup when needed, especially during busy shifts or special events like nightclub nights or private parties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully.
• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for cashiering and bill calculations.
• Knowledge of culinary terminology or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic nightclub or restaurant setting.
