Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide attentive service, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere from arrival to departure
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen or bar staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
• Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and operate cashiering systems including OpenTable for reservations
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous for understanding menu offerings
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining high service standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is desirable; experience in bussing or guest services is beneficial
