Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through suggestive selling techniques and specials
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments with POS systems
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Ability to handle food safely, follow sanitation protocols, and manage food handling responsibilities effectively
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate order processing
• Previous experience in serving roles such as host/hostess or bussing is highly valued
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality best practices
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as required in a fast-paced environment
