Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to coordinate guest seating and manage wait times effectively

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Experience in guest relations, upselling techniques, and providing memorable guest experiences
