Duties

• Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the first interaction
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures, including openTable reservations management
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to accommodate new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus for understanding menu offerings
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and engaging with guests confidently
