Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring efficient communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, and basic food industry knowledge to ensure quality service

Experience

• Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred
• Demonstrated skills in guest services, upselling, and customer relations to enhance the dining experience
• Strong time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high service standards
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in host/hostess roles or serving positions that showcase excellent guest interaction skills
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
