Duties

• Delivering elevated, attentive, and engaging guest service
• Creating a fun, high-energy atmosphere while maintaining professionalism
• Guiding guests through food, cocktail, wine, hookah, and bottle service menus
• Upselling featured cocktails, premium spirits, specials, celebrations, and VIP experiences
• Maintaining strong menu and product knowledge at all times
• Managing large sections efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Anticipating guest needs and providing proactive hospitality
• Collaborating closely with bartenders, hosts, kitchen staff, and management
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout service
• Assisting in creating a social, welcoming, and visually elevated environment
• Representing the Calypso brand both in-house and through positive guest interactions

Skills

• Proficiency with Toast POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment
• Experience in food service environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or casual restaurants with a focus on hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills in fast-paced settings
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and engage with guests confidently

The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, nightlife, and creating memorable guest experiences. Experience in high-volume restaurants, lounges, nightlife venues, or upscale brunch concepts is strongly preferred.

Pay: $21.51 - $30.00 per hour
