Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server to join our dynamic team. As a key ambassador of our hospitality experience, you will deliver outstanding customer service, ensure guest satisfaction, and create memorable dining moments. Your enthusiasm for food, music, and guest relations will help foster a lively and welcoming environment that reflects our passion for jazz and culinary excellence.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as SpotOn or Toast is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple tables
• Knowledge of the food industry, including menu offerings from Latin cuisine and Asian influences
